A Dose of Green and Some Flowers

Last night I stayed up late (until about 1am?) figuring out how to make the paper flower pins.  

Once I figured out how to do it to my liking, I was addicted!

Below are some gifts I made with my flowers :-)

A Bunch of Flowers for You!

I have an idea that is somewhat outside of scrapbooking, although these flowers could still be used as scrapbooking embellishments.  Yesterday, I bought a tin of Prima paper flowers from Michaels.  I have used paper flowers before but mostly just a single flowers in bunches in a layout.  I also bought findings for the pins, jewel brads, and self-stick gems and pearls. 

 

Then, I layered the flowers, attached a brad, used a plastic backing on the bigger flowers, and glued the finding to the brad.  Now I have a bunch of flowers (sorry, I couldn't resist!)
